Joseph Duelk Jr. Division #1-Monroe New York

President's Message

April 2005

Gentlemen,
Thank you everyone for making March a great month. From the Irish Festival in Greenwood Lake to the Mid-Hudson Parade in Goshen, the New York city parade and right into the Pearl River, it was a good month for the Irish. Thanks also to all the volunteers who's time and effort are greatly appreciated.

April is upon us and we are off and running again, starting with our Dinner dance on April 9th. Last year's event was well attended and a good time was had by all. I'm sure this year's dance will be just as good. We have the Tattoo at West Point on April 24th. Marty Hogan will host this event. It's $5.00 per person, children under 10 are free, beer, burgers, hot dogs. Sound like a great way to spend a spring day. If you need more info you can call Marty on 782-2047. We finish this month with the County Convention on April 30th. At our next meeting we will nominate delegates. Both meetings are very important and anyone who can attend should.

As always, if you know a worthy Irish-Catholic gentleman who would like to join our organization, please bring him to the next meeting for sponsorhship.

Respectfully Yours,
Patrick Grennan
President
